仪陇刘 (he/him) is a second-year playwright in Juilliard’s Lila Acheson Wallace American Playwrights Program. 他玩 良好的敌人 had its premiere Off Broadway at the Minetta Lane Theatre as part of Audible Theater’s 2022– 23 season. Liu is a Core Writer at Playwrights’ Center and an alumnus of Ensemble Studio Theatre’s Youngblood. He has developed work with Ojai Playwrights Conference, the Kennedy Center, and SPACE on Ryder Farm, among many others. Liu is writing under commission for the Manhattan Theatre Club’s Sloan Initiative. 他玩s include The Book of Mountains and Seas (2021 Lambda Literary Award for drama, Paul Stephen Lim 剧本创作 Award), June Is the First Fall (Kennedy Center Paula Vogel 剧本创作 Award, 长江代表, Kumu Kahua Theatre, Original Works Publishing), 小丑 (Po’okela Award, Kumu Kahua Theatre), and 准备玩, or Blue Parachute (New Conservatory Theatre Center). Liu grew up in China and received his MFA from the University of Hawaii.
